From Between the Cracks

Angela dreamed of the day she would return to Messina, but she was frightened of what she would find. She never told anyone about the dark energies that resided there. The experiences she had as a child remained in her mind and heart. She did not want to be labeled as a heretic or witch, as so many had been. It was time to board but all she wanted to do was run; back to New York where she could live with the hope that here sister could still be alive and the dark energies were now in hell where they belonged. Angela had to accept the possibility of her sister's death.
